Jane Li

Jane Li, a former member and current director of CYFA, is the CEO and founder of Peerone Academy. This is an educational consulting company that helps students develop the most competitive and unique personal image to get their dreams recognized by the school. Jane helped many students and members of the CYFA community gain recognition from the prestigious Ivy League and Canadian institutions. Peerone serves 12th-graders who are currently applying to colleges.

We have a very special event planned with VIP appearances from a Mystery Investment Banker and World-Renowned Financial Expert Ms. Winnie Hong Wei Liao and President of Respon Wealth. 

Respon Wealth Management Corp. headquartered in Toronto, has a self-built building, specializing in family wealth inheritance, asset planning, tax planning, etc., and has nearly ten branches in five provinces of Canada.

Winnie Hong Wei Liao, the CEO of Respon Wealth Management Corp., with nearly 30 years of financial investment knowledge and rich practical experience in North America and China. She is known for her outstanding performance among peers as a top performance entrepreneur in the national ranking of many large Canadian Financial Institutions as well as receiving the highest prestige of being a member of the Top Table within the Million Dollar Round table for more than ten consecutive years. Winnie Hong Wei Liao won the National List of London Life in Canada for ten consecutive years before 2018. And won the top advisor of SunLife national ranking in 2021 and the past few years. During the special period of the Covid 19 pandemic in 2021, She still led the team of Respon Wealth Management Corp. to remain the top financial company in the industry in Canada.

CYFA YOUTH BUSINESS PROPOSAL CONTEST

Youth across Canada come together each year to pitch their business plans with purpose. Over the course of 9 months, participants are given the tools to build an idea from the ground up, develop a strong network of peers and mentors, and ultimately, walk away with a cash prize.

2022 marks our ninth consecutive year celebrating the growth and creativity of Canadian youth from all backgrounds. Plan with a Purpose has been held in support of UNICEF Canada’s School-in-a-Box program since 2018. Collectively CYFA has donated over 60K dollars to support UNICEF initiatives. 

Plan with a Purpose is a half a year-long workshop and seminar series that ends with two rounds of presentations in front of a panel of judges, and is an educational experience, unlike anything school, could hope to be.

• Explore entrepreneurship | experience the process of creating a business, from ideation to prototype and beyond

• Develop new skills | practice public speaking and other key presentational skills with professional guidance

• Meet and learn from industry experts | gain access to our curated panel of judges from a variety of industries including C-Level Executives, Investment Bankers, Financial Experts, Tenured Professors and more. 

• Build a community | meet peers from nationwide who will work with you during Plan with a Purpose and long after

• Grow personally & professionally | find the confidence to achieve any goal and become the best version of you
